ABOUT ME

I am a 38 year old humorous, tolerant, adventurous, sociable, funny, open minded and confident girl from Hamburg. I was born in Hamburg and grew up here.

After I finished school I did an apprenticeship as a forwarding agent. Since my training, I work in the harbour at a packing station. We are packing export containers for all destinations worldwide.

I live alone in a 1,5 room apartment in the north of Hamburg, the district is Barmbek and is about 20 minutes by bus and rail away from the city and central station.

In my spare time I meet with my friends, go to concerts and comedy events and also do swimming.
While summer time I love BBQ with my friends in the city park ( Stadtpark ) and chilling at the nearly sea ( Oortkatener See ) or relaxing at the beach of Hamburg ( Elbstrand).

I am very interested in football/soccer and I`m a fan of the soccer club FC ST. PAULI.
Almost every time when St. Pauli is playing home I will be at the stadium.
If my time permits I ride to away games, so last year I travelled to a lot of German cities.
Unfortunately I did not have enough time to have a sightseeing tour.
Also due caused no cheap accommodation.

Through my soccer trips I have met many new interesting people who share my love to these sports and I am still in contact with them. So you can see … sport combines. :-)

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life at the time as I think it is right.
I travel a lot and enjoy it. Perhaps a time will come when I can no longer make all of this. So I can say one day that I've experienced that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to use this community to get know about new and interesting people from all over the world.
I also want to give others the opportunity to stay cheap for their trip in Hamburg.

I am also looking for a host when I am on the road again through my soccer trips.
I have no great demands on the accommodation, a place for sleeping and a shower is enough for me.

It would please me if you can give me some insider tips … where I can go for a drink, what sightseeing I have to see necessarily. Maybe we can do something together if we want to.

Interests

I love going to concerts and meet with my friends.
Also, I am interested in football/soccer.

In my holidays I like to travel. Unfortunately, I've been able to make any long distance travel because my budget was very low. Currently I love backpacking holiday.

I love comedies; for example: Hangover ... a great movie :-)

Currently I hear a lot of German-Rock, Smooth Jazz and also chill-out or lounge music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best thing I've seen so far is the collosseum in Rome.
With my best friend I've celebrated my birthday there.
We sat in front of the Colosseum and drank a bottle of wine. She sang Habby Birthday to me and turned on sparklers. It was so a great Birthday .. thanks Kathrin.
