ABOUT ME

My name is Stephan and I’m 24. I finished university in september 2012. I studied environmental engineering in the faculty of Gembloux Agro Bio-Tech. I’m a big fan of travelling: I was exchange student in Australia during the years 2006-2007 and also lived in Burkina Faso for three months to do a university mission which consisted as a study of an irrigation perimeter. This year I’m travelling around latin America for a year and discovered a new passion: Scuba diving.

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe Diem !!! Live is too short and we don’t know what tomorrow will be made of ... So just take and make every minute counting

Interessen

Scuba diving. I want to become a dive master in a longer term. I love sport in general, especialy tennis and basket-ball. I also love traveling, meeting new people and getting to learn other cultures and ways of living.

I like all kinds of music and I’m not the biggest fan of reading, even if i wish i did ...

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Leaving in the countryside of Burkina Faso without electricity and,or water all the time was unique. Scuba Diving with sharks in Panama and bungee jumping in Panama were pretty amaizing too. So was doing the harbour bridge walking in Sydney.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

With couchsurfing I really hope to learn more about the culture of the country that I’m traveling. For me it is thet best way. It also allows you to get to practise the local langage of the country !!!
