Overview
About Me
NOTE: I'm really sorry if I don't respond. Sarajevo is quite busy this time of year and the number of requests I'm getting while traveling myself is too high to respond to everyone. If I'm in town and have the room I'll do my best to get back to you.
SECOND NOTE: Please don't request to stay the same day you send the post. I know that traveling is hectic and plans can change, but that's what hostels are for. I'm much more likely to respond if you send a post a few days ahead of time so I can make sure to show you the best parts of the city.
ABOUT ME
I'm a journalist, disaster specialist and developer. I'm a persistent and continuous traveler, based in Sarajevo, but a New Yorker by training.
NOTE: My ratings are low simply because my email changed around for a few years. I travel a lot but am happy to host when in town as of February 2015.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've had a lot of great people all across the world welcome me on to their couches, I like to do the same.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Sleeping in the slums of Arusha, Tanzania was the best experience probably (minus the gun shots at night). Great people, simple, good food and a great place to work.
Interests
Writing, reading and rithmatic. Also long conversations over coffee and beer, playing and listening to music, as well as engaging in lively political debate.
Also rock climbing (always good for a belay) and snowboarding.
