ABOUT ME

I have been travelling in Central America and now North America since December 2014. Exploring human kindness and living off grid / out of the traditional system through travelling, exploring and couch surfing!

I'm a qualified massage therapist & yoga teacher, had a former career as a digital media executive, am learning to play the guitar and hula hoop and am a vegan :)

The older I get the more I realise that the places you visit are just a tick in a box without the people you meet turning it into an experience. When we think back to any trip, any experience, it's always the people we remember fondly & make it such a special experience.

I love the concept of meeting such wonderful & interesting people all with the common interest of making this world a smaller, friendlier place! I've had such wonderful experiences both hosting and being hosted. Everybody has something to share and I'm so warmed by the concept of people opening up their homes to strangers.

Now I can host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a guy in India who had travelled a lot with CS & hosted a lot. He met some really interesting people & had some great experiences & converted me to giving it a try!

My first experiences were wonderful & reaffirmed in me the power of people to enhance our lives. A little bit of kindness goes such a long way :)

Teach, Learn, Share

If I know it and you want to learn it, I'll try & teach it to you! Hatha Yoga, delicious vegan/vegetarian cooking in particular! Spent good times in an ashram in India sharing, teaching & most definitely learning, learning, learning!
