Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Seeing as much of Europe as I can!
ABOUT ME
I am in my third year of college abroad in Uppsala, Sweden, at Uppsala University, the oldest University in Northern Europe! I go to school on the Central Coast in California at Cal Poly San Luis Opispo, but am from Davis, California, which is located between San Francisco and Sacramento. In my spare time I like to read, travel, hike, swim, be in the sun...
I am really open to new people and new ideas and I always enjoy a good talk. I'm always open to meeting new people and trying new things.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is what you make it. Seize the day and travel and make friends for life!
"When in Sweden, eat the meatballs!"
This year I am going to purposefully 'get lost' and see where it takes me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am open to hosting people (sadly, in my apartment all I can offer is the floor). Uppsala is an old town with lots of history, good food, nice people, and beautiful sights. I have a totally modern apartment and can offer a hot shower and anything else you might need to be comfy.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm new at this! I have only heard great things!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last summer I volunteered in a Township called Langa, in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa. We spent time with kids who truly had nothing to play with or do, who were given next to no opportunities, were hungry, unhealthy, and uneducated. We played games, tried new things, and introduced games from home that could keep them busy and out of trouble so they could grow up to have goals of their own.
Countries I’ve Visited
Bahamas, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Mexico, Mozambique, Russian Federation, Saint Kitts and Nevis, South Africa, Swaziland, Sweden, United States
