About Me
ABOUT ME
I love people, museums, cheese, the weird and wacky, poetry, long streets, embroidery, colors, Vincent van Gogh, good shoes, bell peppers, painted buildings, comfy jeans, folk and bluegrass music, fresh bread, contra dancing, sewing, fruit of all varieties, architectural details, graveyards, mismatched anything, and many, many other things.
PHILOSOPHY
2 rules: 1) Assume the best. 2) Be as happy as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd love to host people in my neck of the woods. It would be thrilling to practice my Spanish or my German, but good English conversations are just as welcome. My newest German vocabulary word is "Gemutlichkeit" which means the feeling of happy coziness among friends. Ben, Adam, and I are trying to create just that in our little condo in Dallas.
PS: I work ten-eleven hour days, so I may not be available 100% of the time to show you around, but I'm happy to drop you off at the DART station or bus stop, to make recommendations, or to recommend folks for you to meet. My two roommates, Ben and Adam, are more available than I am, but all of our schedules vary.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Kissing Buffalo in South Dakota, and then watching the sun set from the top of a painted bus.
Teach, Learn, Share
It would be fantastic to talk poetry with you. Limricks, serious stuff, it doesn't really matter.
I make scones and they are delicious. Want the recipe?
I know all kinds of Southern American idioms.
I can teach you a mean embroidery stitch or two, or just how to sew those buttons back onto your shirt. I'm fairly handy with a needle, and willing to share.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm tidy and happy to cook you a meal if you'd like one!
