I am a wanderlust kind of person. I love the warm and tropical beach lifestyle and hope to move somewhere with this vibe sometime. I have lived in Moscow for a semester and Prague for a year. I travel every chance I get, usually every year and always want to make new friends. I am a resident physician in Omaha, Nebraska for the next 4 years, and after I'm hoping to set up my lifestyle with 6 months work/6 months travel each year.....let's see how that goes. I have served in the U.S. Air Force in the past and have lots of stories about it. I love learning/studying languages, cooking, reading, travel adventures, exercise. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel, I enjoy, I host when I can (which is not much right now), and one day I'll hopefully be able to be a doctor with lots of time to travel and learner of languages and teacher of English.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had many couch surfing experiences in many different countries. Most of these experiences have been while traveling with another friend who made most of the requests and arrangements for places to stay (hence my very small amount of references), however please don't let that be the reason you don't accept me.

Interests

I don't have a limited list of interests. I am willing to try anything as long as it won't kill me and will help me better understand the world around me. I'm ready for almost any experience!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: yes, especially electronic these days (ODESZA is my favorite, Tiesto, Efix, Illenium, Swedish House Mafia...the list is huge). Books: foreign literature, like Russian classics, American classics, anything about history, or medicine, or interesting fiction/fantasy (Brandon Sanderson, for example). I have most recently read two books that I loved: Shantaram and Eaters of the Dead. If you want a great read, try those two!
