ABOUT ME

I love the mountains. Living in Indiana is killing me slowly with the lack of. I'm a big skier/rider/camper/climber, but any kind of running around up in the mountains is fun. I'm studying architecture because I like legos. I'm also fairly decent at drawing and painting so architecture seemed like a good idea. Since studying it for 4 years, I've learned how much it affects humans and lifestyle and now I really want to make better spaces.

PHILOSOPHY

You can't spend time doing something you don't love. You get so much more out of life if you're open minded. Happiness is a state of mind, so make up your mind to be happy. Don't let things get you down.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not done any surfing yet. I like to travel and meet new people. I have hitchhiked and stayed in hostels and traveled a bit with people I've met there, so I feel this will work out.

Interests

Music of all kinds, and I'm always looking for new stuff. I've tried to learn to play instruments but I'm not disciplined enough. Outdoors anything. History, Architecture, Archaeology.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading and can't keep track of all my favorite books, but I have not had much time to read for fun since college. I also love music and I love to much and too many genres to list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a summer working in Stanley Idaho, up in the Sawtooth mountains where did amazing things for myself. I've summited mountains and looked out from the top and realized that I put myself there from my own strength and perseverance.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to learn new things and I love to teach. I have taught snowboarding school and I work sessions teaching kids to climb. I love trying new things. I've been through a lot for my age and I can share wisdom if it is needed.
