I am super energetic person. I am always picking up a new hobby or interest. I read between 3-4 books at one time.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't take things too seriously. Try to be the thing or person you want in your life. For example, if you want love - give love. My friend, Linda says that when you give, you open up space in your heart to receive. She's a smart woman.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted friends when I was living in Brooklyn. I let them have my bed. I am nice like that. I have a big living room in Providence and would be happy to host 1-2 people. I am a real people person. I enjoy hearing interesting travel stories and meeting new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love being in the "local" scene of a place. I can read a travel book until my eyes water, but a book will never be as current as someone local. I actually think hotels smell funny even the nice ones. And what's the point of wasting money on a hotel if you don't plan on sitting in a hotel.

My mother taught me that you always want to leave a situation where your hosts want you to come back... Pitch in doing chores, Bake something etc etc

I have surfed with several hosts. All my experiences were great. Couchsurfing does attract warm, honest and kind people.

I don't spend a lot of time inside the places I am staying. I appreciate the idea of the couch surfing site and would hope to get to know the people that I am staying with. When I am traveling I usually want to be in the town, looking at the architecture, eating, dancing - going to yoga.
