Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To make people be silly, to remind people how much fun it is to play and imagine like kids do, to do my part to make the world better by simply being kind to others
ABOUT ME
I am a very easy-going person and get along with pretty much everyone. I enjoy making other people feel good about themselves. I am optimistic, positive, and try to see the good in everyone.
I very much like to walk around barefoot and climb trees. I like to give Free Hugs out on Fridays. I love playing frisbee and playing games, especially Pictionary, Bananagrams, and pretty much any card game.
PHILOSOPHY
I strive to make the world better by making other people happier than they were before. Each person comes in contact with this world by their interactions, so if my interactions with others are positive, I'm making the world a better place, albeit incremental amounts at a time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As a traveler so far but once I get my own place in the fall I and my housemate will be happy to host!
Interests
I love climbing trees, or climbing anything in general actually. I like reading. I like geocaching, and playing in the rain, and skateboarding and playing frisbee. I like getting people to talk about what they are passionate about.
I like listening and getting people to vent. I care deeply about the Earth. I love dancing (hip hop). I love traveling and going new places.

Favorite books: All the Pretty Horses by Cormac McCarthy, anything by Thich Nhat Hanh, Ishmael by Daniel Quinn
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was backpacking in Baja California, Mexico, we reached the top of the highest peak in Baja, Picacho del Diablo. Once we got up there 10 Californian Condors circled us for 30 minutes, each of them tagged with a number under their wing. There are only about 200 in the wild!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach about earth and environemntal sciences, from El Niño to nuclear power to types of clouds.
