About Me

ABOUT ME

From Leeds in UK, North of England

I am a seasoned traveller and a gay man. I travelled around the world several years ago, visiting such places like Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, Cambodia and Thailand. I have been to over 50 counries around the world and just have the travel bug. I think I should have been born as a gypsy as I just drift from one place to the next and travel overseas 4 times a year.

There are five things I can't live without, a complete family portrait, my Ipad, lip balm, my holdall bag and ....

I love good food and conversation and knowing about the highlights of any place that I visit. I have a wicked sense of humour and like to put someone at their ease. Always the first to go on the dance floor and will drag someone on to join me...how bad is that? Hehe

I have been a guest overseas and respect peoples homes like my own, which means a place for everything and everything in its place.

My motto is simply: Live each day as if its the last and enjoy! enjoy! enjoy!

If hosts wanna know more, just ask....I don't bite...unless you ask me too lol.

One other important thing, please DO NOT ask me to host unless you are 100% sure and DO NOT expect me to rely on your profile information, I may need to ask you additional questions before I will agree to host you and if you think that I am being too intuitive or nosey then I am not the ideal host for you!

Apart from that I am very easy going, you just need to know or meet me to experience that x

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to have the opportunity to meet new people and for new people to get to know me.

I have a one bedroom flat but my sofa is always comfortable and I will always make someone feel like part of my family. Times are hard and money in short supply and its for this reason that I open my home to like minded people who know how to respect someones home.

When I am hosting I like to hang out with guests in the evening. During the day I am usually doing everyday routine like work, cleaning, cooking, walking dog and so on, and you will need to explore the city!

In case I have time I am happy to join activities during the day - of course I am happy to provide some personal tips of what to do.

Interests

Like walking, sightseeing, bookstores, art galleries, beach, walking, taking landscape pictures, riding bikes, like going off the beaten track and leaving city centre to enjoy the pleasures of a countryside. Have a minature schnauzer dog who is my life....Love her to bits.
