ABOUT ME

As O. Wilde said, "I'm too old to know everything" and especially about myself.
Last year my life changed a lot: I've got two new jobs, I've moved to Croatia, I'm finally by my own and I like it :)

PHILOSOPHY

Don't regret - learn from experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been a host when I was living in Macedonia. Unfortunately, recently, I don't have a sofa to surf.
As my friend John said: getting know each other (or not) is also the point of Couch Surfing.

Interests

Travelling, hiking, reading, watching. Recently I have been working in a kindergarten which was amazing experience. From time to time I like to watch football. I love music and, unfortunately, I like to sing - but not many people can stand it so usually I do it whene there is no audience. I love mountains and I enjoy life in general :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - good movies
In music I'm rather retro: Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Dire Straits and so on. Also, recently, Im more and more into Jesse Cook. I listen actually to almost every genre of music: opera - is ok as well, classical music, jazz. Yea, I like jazz a lot.
In books, hmmm... Natasza Goerke style with a scent of Dostojevsky. I have no clue. So maybe what I'm reading recently: "Karamazov Brothers" by Dostojevsky, "Something Happened" by Joseph Heller - great writer but the language is quite difficult so with Heller I'm improving my English. Also, few days ago I was given a tourist guide for hikers in Croatia, so from time to time I look there planning another mountain escapade. Also I read descriptions on products in shops.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working as a volunteer in Struga, Macedonia; Working in a kindergarten, green lizard in Velebit mountains, where I went alone, hitchhiking from Struga in Macedonia to Zagreb, Croatia (I don't hitchhike anymore but I like it)

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to make jewellery, how to work in silver, I play piano a bit, I know seweing (so if you don't, you can use me;) some time ago I was painting with oil colours but recently don't have time for it. I'm into languages, really enjoy learning them and I'm language teacher (what I really enjoy) so I can both teach and learn some.

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Mexico, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovakia, Sweden, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
