About Me
I'm an English-born, Bermuda-raised, Now-Canadian who's chosen Vancouver as a home for the next few years.
English Teacher. Apprentice Stunt Guy. Screenwriter. Jiu Jitsuka.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet amazing people. Some of the best experiences (and relationships) I've developed have kicked off at local CS meetings and events.
Here's to more of the same.
Interests
Socializing - I know that's kind of a given, but I like meeting new people, trying out restaurants, bars and getting out of the house.
Martial Arts - I am a jiu jitsu practitioner and spend a lot of my time reading about it and training for it. One of my absolute passions.
Guitar - I started playing when I was a kid...then gave it up for a looong time. Recently I've started playing again and it's great for relaxing.
Stories - I love movies, books and TV shows - in fact I studied film/screenwriting at University.
Music - I'll listen to pretty much anything, but some of my favs; Dave Matthews, Trace Bundy, Fleet Foxes, Emancipator, The Black Keys, Foo Fighters.
Music, Movies, and Books
Long Way Round
Slaughterhouse-5
Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
The Last Samurai
Sin City
Way of the Peaceful Warrior
Lord of the Rings
Star Wars
And lots of others of course.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate.
All those... moments... will be lost in time, like tears... in... rain. Time... to die...
