I grew-up and studied in the UK. So far, I have lived/worked in Australia, Spain, Puerto Rico and the USA after leaving Great Britain. I'm a laid-back person, friendly, respectful and always up for a good time. family : sports : beach : friends : health : travel : food

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've usually gone down the hostel route but willing to try something different. Update...Attended my first two couchsurfing events in Feb 2014, in Chicago...really enjoyed them. Met a lot of Chicagoans so far. Would also like to meet people from other states and others who have traveled abroad.

Interests

I love watching football, Rugby, American football, going out with friends to cafes/restaurants/bars, sightseeing, traveling, reading and music.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many genres to list. I've been to festivals in the UK and abroad. My favourite has to be Leeds and Reading festival. I usually read magazines and website articles to keep up with the news.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

*traveled 5 continents since uni
*snorkeled and dived in Fiji
*visited temples + monks-Thailand, *swam with sharks
*explored the biggest temple
*St. Patrick's day in Amersterdam *biked around Copenhagen
*saw the Pope in Madrid
*went to the Swiss Alps
*spent stime with orphans in Fiji
*went back to London for Olympics
*traveled up the Mekong river

To have lived in other countries with different cultures, customs and languages has been life changing.

Leaving my comfort zone in the UK was a huge step, but one I will never regret.
