Overview
About Me
I am a 23 guy who lives with my fellow economists/consultants who I met at uni.
I'd like to think we are pretty chilled out guys and are very eager to keep travelling, meeting new people and exploring new areas!
We know how expensive London is, and how much we love to get to know new faces so I thought that I would put our couch online for all the travellers who are looking to stay in London and are on a budget!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe couchsurfing is a great way to meet new and interesting people. It is also a fantastic way to show off London, my home away from home, my favourite metropolitan area and easily one the best cities in Europe...if you know the right areas!
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a fan of most types of music, and will always give new music a go. But I especially love DnB, ElectroSwing, Deep House and of course The Arctic Monkeys, although my favourite band has to be the Gorillaz!
I hate to say it but horror movies are definitely my fave...even the bad ones.
I'm a bit of a nerd so most books I read are economics based, but my favourite book of all time has to be Trainspotting!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my weirdest and most beloved memories of travelling so far was when my friend handed me a shot of Raki whilst I swimming in a river in Montenegro.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have lived in London for 5 years, 3 of which was during my bachelors degree at the LSE. I am in love with this city. People always complain that it is expensive and full of grumpy people...and it is both of those things...if you want it to be.
It is a city in which you need to get lost, get immersed and genuinely just accept the weird and wonderful to truly enjoy. Despite having lived here for so long, and pushing myself to explore every corner each day...I STILL have not been to half the places.
So what I can share with you is some 'student' knowledge - basically how to be cheap, and some experiences I have had with this crazy, busy, dynamic and incredibly rewarding city!
