About Me
ABOUT ME
IâÃâ¬Ãâ¢m an Aussie and I've lived in Germany for the past six years. In Oz I was a journalist for "local rag" style newspapers, now after years abroad it's hard to imagine going back to that old life! The time may come one day when I'll want to hang up my travelling boots, but not yet.
In Germany I'm teaching English and trying to keep my reporter instincts alive by making my own travel website about the city of Munich.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm just new to Couch Surfing, however I know a few people who have done it many times and swear by it, so I'm looking forward to giving it a go.
Interests
I like to build my travel website, read a lot of old books, go to the gym and for runs in the park, travel as much as I can, stuff about at home cooking and so forth.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Darron Hanlon and Lisa Mitchell are two home-grown Aussie faves of mine, at the moment I'm also listening to a lot of Sweden's Jens Lekman.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Volunteering for four months on a construction site in Thailand after the Tsunami was probably the most worthwhile thing I've ever done - plus the beautiful setting and the friends I made there made it one of my most amazing experiences.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well I have some travel writing experience and now some website building experience, so I can go on for hours in that regard. Other than that, I'm not sure - anyone interested in learning some Aussie slang?
