ABOUT ME

I am Scottish but now living in Chicago for work. Have been there about 3 years now and loving it. I work on a project called zooniverse.org at the Adler planetarium as a scientists, data monkey, web developer and general tinkerer. An astrophysics by training I am interested in most tech and science but also art and music too and especial love the intersection of all of those things. Enjoy attending and organising hack days and am passionate about how data science and technology can be used for better social equality and good.

Enjoy good conversation and meeting people with diverse views and backgrounds. Politically liberal I feel like society is about looking after each other and accepting and supporting everyone for who they are.
