Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted a few surfers now and am looking forward to meeting some more interesting people. I'm going to go surfing in the future too. I'm often touring Thailand on motorbikes or getting around Asia to experience the neighboring countries.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Inspired by a colleague who relayed tales of interesting people he has hosted and stayed with.

Interests
I'm exploring the world - living in another country, culture and absorbing the experiences that arise.
I'm a real petrol head and love classic cars. Back in England I was a keen restorer and had classic minis, VW's and a kit car. Here in Thailand I ride a motorbike and enjoy getting out of the city to explore the countryside on two wheels.
I play badminton at a couple of local clubs in BKK and would be happy to have a knock around with couch surfers...

Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a teacher so teaching and learning is my everyday...
I can Makaton Sign and would enjoy sharing some signs with fellow couch surfers.
I'm currently pushing technology in the classroom to support students and "include"students with different abilities. I'm open to hearing about using learning technology and gadgets in innovative ways to enhance learning experiences.
I'll also accompany you on bike trips if you hire a motorcycle. ..I can help you arrange a bike and suggest routes.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've recently moved so... I still have a comfy double sized sofa bed. Shared bathroom. A gym, swimming pool and steam room. A local area away from tourists and TukTuks. Local food and bars. Information and help with getting around in Thailand. An insight into being an expat here. A meal if you're lucky, a night out if you're very lucky (depending on work etc.) I'm still in touch with many of the surfers I've hosted and have met up with them since hosting so CS can be a great way to make lasting friendships...
