ABOUT ME
I work full time as an arborist tree top adventurer! I've harvested a bit of wood in the past and would like to do more, I love getting wood :)
When I'm not climbing trees or playing with chainsaws I'm hanging with my super cool wife Harjot, we live together so its pretty easy.
When not doing either of those things, I do a little online learning via MOOC (online courses) for stretching my brain. I like talking about geeky topics.
On the side I play a few instruments, cook food, wash dishes, fix bikes; can also be a linguist, adventurer and advocate of too often forgotten values of doing things for the love, for generosity in terms beyond the simply monetary, for community and for sastisfaction of an honest days work etc...
PHILOSOPHY
Then indecision brings its own delays, And days are lost lamenting over lost days. Are you in earnest? Seize this very minute; What you can do, or dream you can do, begin it; Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.From Goethe's Faust
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surfed a lot of couches in various places, grateful for those who have opened their homes for me to share with them for however long. I've hosted many surfers in many places and always happy to have good souls crossing into our home
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
-2012 New Years in Motown to the sound of gunfire in the streets... I didn't bring my pot. -Surfed / rented and connected in a completely unexpected medium through the great CS stronghold of Buenos Aires.-I lived in a house with the CS ambassador of Winnipeg for a while in 2010. We hosted at least a dozen people from all over in the 3 months I lived there, it was great to share my home with people who were curious about what wasn't on the tourist guide. Hosted just as many lovely people in my loft in Toronto for almost a year! O the good ol days
