About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Experience as much local culture as possible, make new friends and to find the perfect spot.

ABOUT ME

I have been having the most incredible time of my life the last few years having the chance to travel the world, meet new people, and gain some invaluable life experience. I have the travel bug something chronic and im not sure theres a cure at this stage.

PHILOSOPHY

Never really thought about this type of question. I really am unsure, however i do love my family and friends and i think that means a lot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

All of my experiences were of being hosted as i have been travelling for nearly two years. Have stayed with many people (also non CS's) and have hosted some of their friends in Sydney, had them to parties and made some new friends as well...but nothing official so far. I am really looking forward to hosting someone when i return to Australia and i have a regular place to stay. I have met loads of CSers on the road sharing stories as well as encouraging a number of people to join up.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met some of the most hospitable and friendly people int he world. i never thought it could happen just like that but its possible. Love the concept and the people who are involved are great.

Interests

Music, music, music, music festivals, sports of nearly every kind, movies, formula 1, beer, spending time at cool pubs, surfing, dancing, meeting new people, learning cultures, history, playing music if i get around to it,languages and experiencing various food from all over the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Donnie Darko, Shawshank Redemption, Fight Club, Seven, Lock stock, adaptation, The Big Lebowski...too many to list.
Enjoy alternative and indie music. Radiohead and muse are probably my favourite all time bands, but have huge interest in chili peppers, pearl jam, kaiser chiefs, bloc party, hard HIFI, interpol...once again too many to list. Love attending music festivals and the best one is Roskilde in Denmark. That list above is so insignificant compared to the time i spend listenign to music but i would be here forever trying to determine a list. We should get together to talk and lsiten to the stuff instead.
Read most things but my favourites would have to be Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, and Catch 22 by Joseph Heller. Love the way they both make me laugh hysterically out loud. Have recently gotten into books about summiting Everest since my trip to Nepal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cinque Terre in Italy is unbelievable. Something you all should do.
Everest Base Camp. Gruelling but worth it. In general go to Nepal. Its a hard place to leave
Germany and Turkey were my favourite countries.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can always be apart of a conversation and and am quite talkative. Rarely run out of things to say but i do enjoy peace and quiet at times if the serenity is there. I seem to have a good ability to judge someones character, and definitely find this a great asset. I work in the hospital system and do get some satisfaction in being able to improve some peoples lives
