About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission is to become a Benedictine monk and flee this fleeting phenomenal existence.
PHILOSOPHY
To think of one's goals in life as a kind of philosophy is a gross bastardization of the concept of philosophy. That said, I will try to respond as best I can to the specific questions asked of me in this section, namely, (i) why do you live your life? (ii) feelings? (iii) thoughts?
(i) At the most basic level, I live my life because, as a human being, I have a biological predisposition to self-preservation.
(ii) I have feelings, yes.
(iii) I have thoughts, yes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I participate by gracing others with my presence, regaling them with timeless philosophical truths, presenting them with juicy cans of mandarin oranges, challenging them in a game of backgammon, and conversing with them as if they were sophisticated men of affairs of the Scottish Enlightenment.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
CouchSurfing Inexperience: I only recently learned of the existence of this fabulous phenomenon known around the globe as couchsurfing. My cousin's boyfriend informed me of it during a family reunion. I will be traveling to England for study abroad purposes this coming August, and I plan to do some traveling around the continent during my 8 or so consecutive months in Europe. Some countries of interest include: Spain, France, Portugal, Germany, Italy.
