Hi, I'm Di. I was born and raised in Nam Dinh, Vietnam. I spent 22 years in living and studying in Vietnam until i graduated uni with a bachelor's degree in french language and then traveled to Europe for a year before going back here and started working until now. I’m staying in an apartment with my friend and my nephew at the moment but not with my parents anymore because of my work but I usually visit them during every month. Appearance wise, people tell me that I take after my father from the eyes to the shape of face. About personality, traveling and witnessing a lot of cultures and diversity made me become a more open-minded person. I have heard from my friends that I’m outgoing and can be a good team player.
I have some close friends , we do share some common interests and hobbies which is why we are friends in the first place. We both like to talk about travel, fashion, and taste in music. However, I do find myself different from my friends in some aspects. I sometimes need an alone moment where I’d rather wandering around the city instead of socializing while my friends are mostly friendly and easy-going.
In my spare time, i usually go the the cybernet cafe with my friends. Morever, i spend at least one hour learning languages, learning how to make a video or to edit photos in Photoshop. I often sing karaoke with my friends as well.

Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

In September of 2016, I undertook the trip that i had always dreamed of. I boarded a plane, crossing a half world towards France. Then I went straight to Lille where I met my host family that i had contacted them before. I stayed in an attic apartment with 12m2. I experienced life in different neighborhoods, different foods, different culture, different lifestyles and they gave me a good idea of what existing in that country. I knew what French guys ate for breakfast, how they dress, how much they got paid, and how hard they had to work... All these little things you can only guess when you don’t actually see what the locals’ life is like in their own household.
I knew Couchsurfing when I went to Paris for a couple of days, i had to book a room

Музыка, кино и книги

I'm fond of music mainly because it can cheer me up greatly when I feel down or depressed. Besides, i also believe that music is an indispensable part of culture and tradition through which I may have a better understanding of different cultures around the world. I like pop, classical, country music and sometimes I love listening to rock or hiphop music cause it blows my mind with strong beats and rhythms.
I'm really into reading because I believe that reading can be both entertaining and educational. Reading broadens my knowledge by opening up the whole world to me. While I'm reading, i can be visiting another country. I am inclined to read books about culture
Besides, i love watching films. I try to absorb as many different kinds of films as I can. To be honest, I have been a couch-potato. So if it rains on weekends , I'll stay at home and watch all kinds of films, tv shows,... or while eating some junk food.
