ABOUT ME
I've rejoined couchsurfing after quite some time and am still enthusiastic about it. I am 28 years old and studied in one of the most beautiful towns of Germany (I'm still reluctant to refer to refer to it as Hypezig) Last summer I moved to Berlin for my teacher training. The place I live has a lot to offer, many comfy veggy and vegan places, a küfa and the turkish bakery around the corner and a club right across the street. When I'm not working, I spend lots of my time traveling, chatting, cooking. On a warm summer day I take my bike and drive down to the closeby canal or tempelhofer feld.
Also I enjoy a good indi concert and films by Woody Allen (my favourite one being 'Whatever Works').Did I mention I love to dance Argentine Tango and sing in a choir? I guess we find something to talk about, listen to or indulge in.
I lived in different places and always liked the new experience, the different ways of getting involved and acquainted with a new culture (especially warm and welcoming were people in Israel) and the getting to know yourself better during the process.
Every now and then I need to take some time off Berlin but always love to come back.
PHILOSOPHY
Trying to be myself most of the time :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
every bit, so far was a surprise - naturally positive ;) no, seriously, a young lady in San Francsisco saved us last minute, we we're cared for by a decent guy in SLC, - and we were waked in the middle of the night in malmö (sweden) by our host just arriving back from a party playing his trumpet , or given insight into the great secret of what makes the perfect Shackshuka by a chef in Jerusalem. I will soon be able to host again and simply like the idea of sharing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Where shall I start? I like Juli Zeh, Peter Hoeg, Ian McEWan, Chimamanda Adichie, Jonathan Franzen...
I enjoy a good tv show, nevermind the danger of getting addicted (The Newsroom, Homeland...)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I climbed Massada at 4am in the morning and watched the sun rising.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always happy to learn new things, be it how to fold a t-shirt the Japanese way (recently watched my flat-mate doing it - it really works - fascinating!) or how to make Brasilian Cheese Balls (pao de queijo) - yummie :)
Countries I’ve Lived In
Germany, Ireland, Israel
