I grew up in India and spent a year studying in Milan. I traveled (and couchsurfed) a LOT this past year, and can safely say I made the most of my year abroad :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been a lurker on this website since 2010. July 2013, I decided to actually use it. So far, I've surfed with 6 hosts in 4 cities, and I've been amazed at the kind of hospitality and love I have received!
I'm completely inspired to host now, and as soon as my journey ends, I definitely will!!!

Update! I just came back to Milan... Surfed with 9 incredible hosts in 4 countries :D

Update again: My last few weeks in Europe, so I'm going off on another 3 week trip from the end of November till I finally go home in December.

AND FINAL UPDATE! I'm back home in India! Ready to host :)

Musica, film e libri

Ooooh I dont knoww...
I used to read a LOT as a child, but fell out of the habit. I still read, but not as much as before. And I dont think Ive ever come across a book that didnt interest me.
Music... Well, my favourite was, is and always will be Westlife!!!! I like most kinds of music, though. Unless Im sitting with a constipated look on my face. That means Im trying to not tell you to turn it off!! Haha...
Movies... Im not a particularly big movie buff. I dont dislike them, of course, but I wont say Im crazy about movies either. 2-3 movies a month works just fine for me!!

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

The North-Eastern states of India. I once had a very small trip there, and it is sooo underrated!!
I visted Prague in July 2013. Its the first city that has met and exceeded all my expectations.
Hitchhiked solo from Budapest to Ljubljana and met amazing people- something I never thought I'd dare to do.
Bulgaria was a surprise package. Also Poland and Slovenia. Incredible and extremely underrated countries.

The culture of food... It means a lot to me. Anything food related... Recipes, cooking styles, rituals!!
