We are happily married since 1986
Worked in India for several years and migrated to US in 1997
Naturalized US Citizens
Passionate about music and languages
Strict Vegetarians
Have high regard for good family value systems
Any melodious music is good for us - type no bar
Any delicious vegetarian food is good - which country it is from is no bar
We love to write songs in English, Telugu, Hindi
We love to choreograph and create stage shows for children
Love to compose music , orchestrate, sing record and give stage presentations

Our legal family consists of us (Surekha & Srinivasa) and a lovable, extremely friendly and gentle natured Yellow Labrador "Smokey" with loving eyes with a sparkle, which unusual in Labradors. (See the pictures)

God has bestowed us with immense capacity to share our love.

We want to play parents for grown up children deprived of parental love give them all the love and affection we can give. We are supporting four orphaned children and two handicapped children in various parts of the world.

We want to be serving elderly who are deprived of love from their children living far away. On a serious note, we are seriously considering starting a ALF providing family environment.

PHILOSOPHY

For us world is one family. We have no choice of family we are born in but definitely have a choice to spread love and strive to make the whole world one family.

Candle's purpose is to spread glow - by lighting other candles it can spread the glow without lessening its own.

Values we carry are like candle light. We can try to instill values in others without losing our own.

Knowledge is like candle light. It can be spread to those desirous of receiving without our own reservoir drying up.

Sun never stops radiating light. We move away from sun into the shadow and say sun sets.

To know people and cultures better, we have to live like them and live with them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

-Will provide a couch (two private bedrooms) to couples or families
-Preference will be to families with children.
-Since there is no public transport nearby, if you have transport of your own it will be helpful
-We encourage our guests to feel at home.
-We expect our guests to respect family values
-If you are coming to Tallahassee with family as an international student and need place to stay in till you find a place of yourself, we can consider that too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first couch surfing experience - Fantastic. We love it.

The second couch surfing experience - Superb We love it.

Third couch surfing experience - Mind blowing. We love it.

First hosting experience - Fantastic. We want to do it again.

Subsequent hosting experiences - don't have any more words. Simple love doing it.
