About Me

I am someone who is always curious and open to exploring new interests and hobbies! I think life is best measured by experiences and we are the sum of of all the experiences we go through. I love adventures. I am always curious about meeting people from new places, getting to know the culture, and understand people and their thoughts and perceptions.

I lived in China for four years and studied Aircraft Design and Engineering. I love Chinese food and I love eating with the chopsticks. While in China, I taught English part-time to school kids. After graduating, I came back to my home country and started traveling for a while before I joined the law school. As a student of law, I attend competitions, summer courses and seminars all over the world. In 2016, I went to Tokyo and New York City.

India was my first Travel destination for 2017 where I travelled across Kolkata and Gujarat for several competitions.

Europe was my next destination. I had a really exciting time attending a Summer Course at Viadrina European University at Frankfurt (Oder). I also visited Warsaw and Gdynia for 9 days.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am passionate about understanding people! I love to meet new people and be friends with them. I love people who are bold in heart, who is willing to trust a stranger with their couch because I believe that people see in others what they are already in themselves.

I have hosted once few years ago and it was the most amazing experience of exchange. She was from Germany travelling the world.

She stayed for a few days in my home and I showed her around Kathmandu and helped with her shopping etc. She went on a Annapurna trek and came back to share her wonderful experience. She made us apple pie, mashed potato and many of her favourite foods and she loved having nepali food made in my kitchen.

What struck me is how much there was in common between us. She was reading the book 'eat prey love' and immediately our conversation started flowing. Both of us read spiritual books and believe in the power of our mind and the law of attraction.

It wasn't a surprise to us how we crossed paths and we often tell that our vibration attracted each other!

I believe that we can't force people to come into our lives. We need to put ourselves out there and the energy that we radiate attracts right people in our lives. And I believe the same principe applies when it comes to surfing and lending couch :)
