About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Figuring out how to strike a balance between work and relationships Still hoping to find those opportunities to get immersed in a new culture because traveling without plans and figuring it out as you go along is still the best adventure of all :)

Here's to other edens.

ABOUT ME

Just another guy ... you know. Or not as the case may be :)

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live. Always remembering someday all of us are roadkill on this highway called life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Haven't really been an active community member. Loads of plans to do the weekly meetings, volunteer work etc but even after years still haven't gotten around to doing this.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only a couple to date ... but both were insanely great

Stayed with Ansy in Montreal and with Boyd Vallis while in Bermuda. Also met Cris Dapena for lunch and dinner while down there as well. She'd offered board as well. Met CSers in Berlin, Warsaw, Prague as well during travels and they were very helpful in helping me discover local treasures.

When it comes to travel experiences every one of them was a unique experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a bit about cooking, writing, photography, accounting, finance, entrepreneurialism, projects, management etc as I make a living as a consultant. Would love to learn about people, culture, photography, poetry and share experieces, stories, and whatever else can help make for a good road trip .. like beer, good company, friends in other places :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Lists from travels. Of how to pack light, finding rideshares, off the beaten track places to visit, how to eat like a local, interesting drinks et al.

Photography tips.

Cooking stories, recipes, and perchance share the kitchen to cook something.

Cultural nuances I've learned that's been very helpful.

eBooks ... all kinds of ebooks from fiction to cookbooks.

Stories about Vipassana meditation.

Contacts in Expat communities in countries such as Dubai, Malaysia etc.

Stories in general. Of people and adventures :)
