CURRENT MISSION

My mission is so broad sometimes that even I get lost in it...but I manage to take it a day at a time..but to make at least one life breath easier in my lifetime will be good.

ABOUT ME

I am a culture vulture and I love playing football, futsal, yoga and jogging. I have been practising and teaching yoga for many years, I am on a mission to filter yoga from the fake lenses of the modern world. I love trying out all kinds sports. I think we must always be learning new things to keep us from becoming a dinosaur, I read all kinds of things. Applying it is also important. I love coaching or helping out people, I am a communication specialist and I love traveling, I think the world is an oyster our differences is what makes the world unique. Can you imagine if everyone in the world was the same? We should not be having ethnic cleansing, we should be having ethnic celebrations!

Well i just joined so i will leave this answer for later, but I guess i would like to bridge the gap for racial relations especially after 9/11

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

well actually meet many people in my country from other countries just by talking to them when I see them...I have not actually participated in Couchsurfing practically...well at least not yet.

Interests

Sports: any kind of sports i love trying out and of course winning, but i play football, futsal and yoga and i also like badminton, I think everyone in Malaysia do. But I have played field hockey, cricket, tennis, badminton, soccer, futsal, softball, Sepak takraw, tae-kwondo, taiji...yes it is an art and it is difficult and I was the captain of my taiji team before. ..i love doing yoga and teaching as I was a Physical education teacher before

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Shawshank Redemption...because it showed that we are all in our life trying to get away from a "jail". It also showed that we all have that feeling of "someday when I get out of here, I am..." dreams that we hope to achieve and we should work on it. Actually Forest Gump too and too many to mention. But once again all kinds of movies I am flexible on this...sometimes I am a action guy..other times i love watching sports movies...movies like we are marshall, the invincible, final season, indian, etc

Books: Ahhh biographies,...leadership books, I like books written by Alvin Toffler. Politics, warfare and business books too. Actually too many books to mention I don't read much on fiction. I studied almost 18 years of english literature but never completed my phd..18 years of marvel and DC comics!!! That was a joke guys..

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach yoga and meditation and i am also a qualified football coach who worked for 6 years in the evenings at the Brazil Football Centre as coach all this while doing my full time job. My actual job ...I am a former journalist and writing is in my blood and it gets better like wine as I get older.
