One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On my last trip to Chile to see my sister and we had a chance to climb a volcano together which was amazing. It involved ice axes and crampons and took a full 9 hours to get up and come back down but it was amazing to enter a completely different environment of ice encrusted rocks and snow crevices. It also was pretty amazing because it was a few days before my mom's 58th birthday and she powered through a challenging climb.
The other memory that I love to share is exploring the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State with my dad. It was amazing to see a temperate rainforest with trees so massive they make you feel like a ant. Everything is alive with moss growing on top every available surface. It was so beautiful to be there an we hiked along the coast and into the rainforest following a group of bugling elk up until we reached a beautiful open field. Amazing trip
