About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Settle in Hamburg and start a family in a near future.
ABOUT ME
I'm a 32 years old French girl with a Mexican mother. I am married to Florian (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/tieflow) which I met in Hamburg during a couchsurfing meeting :)
I'm doing 3 years cycles since I left the parent house...: 3 years in Toulon (FR), 3 years in St Etienne (FR), 3 years in Haarlem (NL) and 3 years in Boulogne/Mer (FR) for my PhD. Since 2015, I am living in Germany, first in Berlin and now in Hamburg.
I am postdoctoral researcher and travel a lot on my own for work (and generally try to take to opportunity to do some discovering after that). I love to discover new cultures and customs and I am very interested in locals lifestyle (even if I cannot deny that I generally also visit the main touristic attractions).
PHILOSOPHY
Enjoy ! Feel, live and learn :D
I am concerned with the ecology and ethics in our modern life style as my profession may indicate ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like to meet new people so couchsurfing it's really suitable for me. I like to cook so I'm pleased to cook a nice dinner for my hosts/guests. And as I like to eat and I'm particularly eager to try local specialties :). When I hosted people I always did my best to make my visitors comfy and if I have time make them visit some place and meet some people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
After finishing a working contract in January 2012 I began my CS adventure.
I was living in The Netherlands and began by hosting for few month. Slowly I became a relatively active member and after a 1 month trip in August I became a convinced surfer :) First I only thought about traveling purpose but soon I discovered that it's a great way to meet people in my own city and also to not arrive in a new place completely alone. For instance, I used CS while visiting apartments in Boulogne/Mer and began to have social life even before moving there, I went to a meeting when I arrive for an exchange in Hamburg and met my husband :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is really eclectic (goes from classical music to electro music passing by hip hop, rock ect...). These last times I am craving for a hip hop concert and a ballet :)
I read mainly fantasy (R.R. Martin, Eriskon) and like horror (suspense, not gore) and actions (funny ones) movies.
