About Me
First of all, don't get intimidated by my looooong name :)
It's Sudharsan. My friends call me Soda.
I am from a small island-town in South India, which is famous for being the biggest Temple in the world.
I was a boy from a simple background and lifestyle, who decided to chase his dreams and come to Europe. I completed my Master's degree and currently live in Berlin. One of my favorite things about my professional life is working in a diverse, multi-cultural environment and being friends with people around the world.
I am kinda religious, but football is my religion though. I have to say it's my kind of dance.
I enjoy cooking and the satisfaction it brings to me. Despite being a vegetarian, I have never run out of options to eat because I have my spices at hand. I believe that everyone should spice up their life, although in a literal sense lol.
I am a person who believes in meaningful one to one conversations than networking events, who prefers values to money, and trusts spending time with people than machines. I come from a country with 1.3 billion population, but I am one of a kind :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of my professors said 'Every person is willing to help you more than what you think'.
I don't have role models. I find my inspirations from every single person. And I believe every human can learn from each other.
Through couchsurfing, I wish to connect with people, from whom I can learn and share my experiences.
I never had to couch surf so far until coming out of India. I am learning something new every day and am relishing the moments. I hope I get to explore more cultural diversities and derive more inspiration.
Thanks for reading!
Interests
In 2003, I watched my first football match and my life has never been the same.
Very passionate about watching, talking and playing football. I support Real Madrid.
I love philosophy and mythology. Having been from India, I grew up listening to so many stories and epics associated with mythology and I believe there is a deep-rooted philosophy associated with every tale.

Other favourite musicians- A.R Rahman (India), Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Greenday, Sigur ros. Love country rock/punk rock. Not a big fan of heavy metal.
Movies - SO MANY! I come from a land where people get crazy about movies. There are a lot of Tamil movies I'd never get bored of.
Books - Fear and loathing in La liga, Inverting the pyramid, Soccernomics, Fever pitch, Brilliant orange.
Books on Hindu Mythology fascinates me a lot.

Teach, Learn, Share
The reason I want to do couch surfing is because I want to listen to your stories, learn from it and gain some diverse perspectives. I'd love to cook for my hosts. A proper south indian meal. In my culture, Cooking for someone is the most personal thing one could do for another.
I love Football. It has enabled me travel to places. I would love to talk, play, watch football with you. I have a bunch of stories I would enjoy sharing with you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a positive and philosophical person, who likes to keep things simple. If you're up for Indian delicacies, I'd be more than happy to cook for you. I'll be mindful with the spices (not to worry ;)) Or if not, I'd really want to buy a meal for you. I am going to get you a souvenir for sure as a token of our friendship.
