Overview
About Me
I'm a true ambivert, an ex-doctor now working as a medical writer/editor. I can be bookish and nerdy, but I like meeting new people. I love food, wine, cultures, and languages. I am enthusiastic about various events happening in the city, but I can also be lazy, spending the weekend reading books or graphic novels or watching movies or Netflix. I can cook some dishes well.
Travelling is my passion. I've been travelling a lot in the past few years, and my next big trip is a 2.5-month trip from Baltic to Balkans in the middle of 2019!
Overall, I think I'm generally a nice guy; and, partly because of my work and partly because of my curious nature, inquisitive. I am sure if you like anything from Jane Austen to Interstellar, from bánh xèo to beetroot risotto, and from craft beer to wine and gin, or just discussing about the past, the present, or the future, we'll get along well!

Teach, Learn, Share
I have been on CS for a few years now, and I've hosted quite a few people and shown around some more. I've always had a very good, very positive experience. I've learnt how Danes don't cross the road on a red light, even if it's empty as far as the eyes can see; how French are strict about their breakfast being either sucré (sweet) or salé (salty), but never both; how Japanese eat noodles and soup for breakfast (!); and how Poles have two plurals for each word!
In short, I love learning about cultures and languages as well as sharing whatever knowledge I have regarding my own culture to others!
