About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel! Learn from people, communities, and myself. Share in hardship and excitement. Connect.
ABOUT ME
Travelled South America and Europe for a year by myself. Hitchhiking, camping, walking from country to country. Learning languages, learning to live freely, unlearning the work grind of society.
Unfortunately, nowadays I'm back to the grind of working too much and pushing big travel to the side. I hike, camp, daytrip, and cherish moments where the world slows down enough to hear her breath.
I'm off to Canada for a friends wedding, and instead of just jumping there and back I'd like to see a bit of Canada. My first thought was hike, camp, or hostel but I'd like to see how couch surfing might go!
PHILOSOPHY
Life is about making some things happen, not waiting for something to happen.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For now I am a surfer.
I live where I work and there is not much chance people could stay there.
I have couchsurfed in Peru, Spain, Portugal, England, Wales, Ireland, and Germany.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I love to meet other travelers and think it's a great way to make friends and learn about cultures from all over the world.
Interests
I work for a nonprofit that feeds over 500 people per day in the city of Boston. We move 10,000 pounds of fresh donated produce every day! Ending unnecessary food insecurity in a land of plenty.
Activism, Organizing, and Radical Education.
Exploring! From museums and castles to river streams and orange groves.
Fooood. Especially baked goods, which I love to bake as well.
