Overview
About Me
I am married with two children who have now left home. My daughter introduced me to couch surfing as a way to meet people from around the world and help them enjoy their travels.
I am not much in to technology because I really like to communicate with people face to face. I love asking questions, being asked questions, discussing all sorts of stuff.
I am a fitness instructor for over 50s because I believe in keeping active and fit and enjoying your entire life, no matter how old you are. I became a track and field athlete at 37 and started learning Spanish when I was 43, because I think it is never too late to begin something.
I get involved in a lot of volunteer work because I know how much people appreciate it and I donate freely to grass root charitable organisations because I know how much it means to them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My daughter is a Couchsurfing host and showed me the joys of hosting people and showing them around. Now she has left home, I have plenty of room and would like to continue hosting.
