About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to free myself from the status quo

ABOUT ME

I am a gal who wears her heart on her sleeve. I would like to call myself insightful, but i find more times then often others can help me with their insights rather then my own. I enjoy a party and going out and living life.

PHILOSOPHY

LIVE LIFE....and hopefully prosper. I think experience is the best teacher and all persons cross our path for a reason.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first trip at 25 was to Austria via Amsterdam. On my way back home i had a couple of days in Amsterdam. I had a name of a friend of a friend who said i could stay at there place. Our plane was late and i was concerned about connecting with the people i was suppose to. My seat mate from vienna to amsterdam invited me to stay on his couch. I was floored at the kindnes of strangers. I did find my first connection and will never forget that experience that hooked me to travel for as long as i possibly can.

Interests

living, loving, learning.....and then i like to swim, soccer, read, movies. I am also interested in making the world a better place in my own little world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies-love documentaries... I am a junkie.... Books-just read kite runner, working on the life of pi. Music-good music, of all sorts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Here at home Oh Canada- the Slocan Valley in the interior of British columbia. Sitting in the hot springs at Banff in the middle of winter with the wonderful snow capped Rocky mountians.
Away-The blue lagoon in Iceland.
-Rainy day in Bantry bay Ireland in a castle listening to a quartet who was trained my shaw-ta-covich(sp)
-getting off the train in Edenburough an being overwhelmed with the sights, the art, the life. Sat in a pub and cried.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think my gift is that i am completely open and honest with myself and others. I have no fear of man and my fears in general are few. I think like to think my age and experience can help some of my younger friends thru the same things that i have endured.
