About Me

Life Motto : Live a life you don’t need a vacation from

Back in 2019, I quit my full-time job and started backpacking. However my round the world trip came to a halt in 2020 thanks to covid and I have been back home since.

I’m 28 years old, and I’ve worked in a bank, in a school, and also as a cabin crew.

I'm here because i'm interested in the different people i meet and their life stories rather than exploring tourist spots when i travel.

I'm not much of a planner when i travel. I prefer to let life take its course. It's given me some amazings memories but also gotten me into life and death situations.

I can't host cause i live with my parents (completely normal in Singapore and i'll explain why) but i'm more than happy to show you around Singapore if you need 😊

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To hear about each country from a local's perspective than reading off google.

Music, Movies, and Books

Not a big reader but I could sit in my PJs all day with netflix. I listen to all kinds music from Nicki Minaj to John Legand

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) Met a complete stranger at the train station on my very first backpacking trip, who just walked up to me and striked a conversation and offered me to join her family for dinner. I clicked so well with her and her children, i ended up spending the night at their house (as i missed my train). Till today we keep in touch.Made me believe in kindness and humanity.

2) Nearly got myself kidnapped in an island in Greece when I took a lift from a stranger. I had to strategically scare them off and safely exit their vehicle.

So meeting new people and trusting them has given me both good and bad experiences. But I always follow my gut now when i travel.
