ABOUT ME

Originally from India, and staying in the Netherlands for the past two years.

I like to describe myself as a motorcyclist, traveller, photographer, and just a regular guy with an itch to be footloose. Sometimes, life throws me a curveball, and I catch it with both hands.

I love motorcycles, and have done about 80,000km on one over the past 4 years. I rode around India on a motorcycle before coming to the Netherlands, so I know a bit about what my country is like. (not just what is shown on the news!)

I did my fair share of travelling in Europe, and my mission is to experience as many new places, people, cultures and regions as I can in the short time that I have. I am easy going, love hanging out with interesting people, ride bikes and in general, get a good beer and have a nice discussion. I also like miniature photography (check out my photos to know more)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted a traveler from Germany for 6 days. I started couch surfing when I got to the Netherlands.

Hosted a traveller from Belgrade for a week.

Surfing experience:

Nil. Haven't had that good luck yet!

Favorite topic of travel would be travel, as well as just talking about adventure. I am a very passionate about motorcycles, and traveling on one. This is something I just would love to do for the rest of my life. I hit the gym to keep fit whenever I can. Other than that, i just love the outdoors. Books, music, writing, cycling. talking to people and sharing ideas, or just trying to keep busy!

Many to list, but I am a huge fan of Batman (ever since I was a kid), love movies on travel (Tracks, Wild, 7 years in Tibet) Motorcycling (Fastest, Hitting the Apex, One Week), and of course, movies like Shutter Island, Blood Diamond, The Dollars trilogy, Rocky (I-VI), to name a few

Music:
Pink Floyd, Coldplay, Metallica, Linkin Park, Foreigner, Journey, America, Engima, and a lot more.

Books:
All the world is a spittoon; Valentino Rossi: What if I Had Never Tried It; Jim Corbett, The Ghost and The Darkness; Ring of Fire, On the trail of Genghis Khan - an epic journey through the land of the nomads, and many more.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The most amazing thing I've done in my lifetime is embark on a month long solo motorcycle journey from the south of India to the North, and back again. Ladakh, Pangong Tso, the Himalayas... I truly lived my life those 26 days. Happiness was never absent, and the feeling of joy and freedom was priceless!! :)
