About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy my life!

ABOUT ME

I work for a medical company and sometimes as a freelance translator. I love travelling and meeting new peoples, visiting interesting places and learning . I usually try to learn a little bit of the language of the country I visit. I love eating and enjoy food tourism. Yes, I'm a person who comes back home with 3 kilograms of Turkish delight, pepper for menemen, big pack of baklavas and spices...

I'm a proud member of the Warsaw eco food cooperative, we have a small garden on the balcony and enjoy the eco life style. I make preparations of vegetables, fruits and wild flowers almost every year.
We are a friend family (mentors) for international EVS volunteers working in Warsaw.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy hosting people in Warsaw and I invite only guests, who I would like to meet and spend time with. Sometimes it feels like having a big international family.

I love the worst kind of disco polo, when you laugh until you cry because of the lyrics

Movie & TV- Hebrew Hammer, Cabaret, Burlesque, Grey's Anatomy

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked as a volunteer in a small Gambian village and I really loved it!
I worked in a nature reserve with crocodiles, where I got an offer to smuggle a baby crocodile to Poland (don't worry, I refused)
I renovated a small yacht, together with Ania and my father

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Polish or German, playing board games

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm not experienced as a surfer, but I would like to offer exactly the same things I get from our guests - nice company, long discussions, playing games, going out together, typical food or drinks.
If you like to participate in any kind of city game, I'm always up.
I can cook for you, if you like, bring my famous walnut and date cake (it can be even vegan, I have recently veganised the recipe for the cake) or something else.
If you are intersted in phillumeny (I have never met such a person, but I hope it will happen one day), I have some original Polish matchbox labels for you.
