About Me

ONLY HOST SERIOUS SURFERS. This means that you need to have filled out your profile explaining who you are, what you love, and have added some pictures. If you're traveling with someone, this applies to them as well. Send me the link to their profile. You should also read and understand the "My Home" section. If you don't follow this rule I'll DECLINE YOUR REQUEST.

Current Mission
Throw a dart on the map and I want to go.

About Me
I recently graduated and studied engineering, majoring in Computer Science. I studied for 4 years in the capital city of India, New Delhi.

In summers of 2016, I started traveling because of my internship in Poland and traveled to six countries alone which I couldn't have imagined before, then at the beginning of 2018, I went to the UK and the USA for 6 months on an exchange programme. I went alone out of my country both the times for my internship and the exchange programme. Now, I have a desire to experience everything and meet as many people as possible. At this point in my life, most of my closest friends come from around the world.
I wish to travel more. I feel that I have lost my soul somewhere between India, the US, and the UK. To me, It doesn't feel the same as it used to before going for the exchange.
In the last 48 hours of my exchange, I didn't even sleep for a single hour and was really sad as I realised that it wasn’t going to be the same anymore but that's just life and you have to understand that nothing is constant and everything is going to change.

I will try anything (which is not absurd). They always say you have to take big risks to get big rewards!
Everything is interesting to me, especially 'You'.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I was an intern in Poland my friend told me about Couchsurfing and I loved the concept. I mean you get to meet like-minded people from all over the world. I can say I have more than 1,000 friends from all over the world but the thing is, I just have to meet them. I love to meet new people and I love to travel so it’s a perfect combination. And I love to know about different cultures, so these are the reasons I am on Couchsurfing.

I think life starts at the end of your comfort zone.

Interests

My most common interests are hanging out with my friends, partying, playing games, watching movies, or just chilling. Doesn't matter what we do as long as we have fun.
P.s. I Love to Procrastinate.

TV Shows:
I love Friends, Breaking Bad, Sherlock, The Big Bang Theory, Suits

Books: I'm actually not much of a reader. Honestly, I want to read more but I am lazy and easily distracted while reading a book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled solo and getting out of my comfort zone.
Secondly, 'To be alive, there is nothing more amazing'.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some Indian dance moves, How to crack lame jokes, Just kidding.

LEARN: I want to learn how to do salsa.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share with them my travel stories, my hiking experiences, Indian food, I can teach them some Indian dance moves.

PLEASE NOTE: I may ask to see and make a copy of your passport or other ID. Every hotel/hostel/motel in the world needs them for obvious reasons and makes sense for me to do so too. Here is the CS suggestion in this regard:

Registering a Guest - Asking for Identification

On another note, some hosts may ask to see a photocopy of their guest's identification (ID card or passport) upon arrival. Some even set it as a requirement in order to host. This is not a requirement for hosting set by Couchsurfing, but it's also not against any rule for hosts to make that request. After all, they open their home to somebody they haven't met before, and this can be seen as an act of mutual trust between the two people.

So, it's up to you if you ask to see some form of ID and also up to the guest to accept to show it or move on to another host.

Looking forward to meeting you.
