I personally have never tried couch-surfing as a traveller but my son did once. I have 2 children, 1 young adult and a teen. I don't mind spending time to share about my country and help traveller save some $$$.

Stayed in the Himalayas for 1 month for my yoga training; climbed 200 stories in 5 tower blocks in 1.5 hours for a vertical challenge.
