About Me

ABOUT ME

I've been living abroad since university, and never really moved back for more than a few months. Now workng in Budapest for an international NGO after having spent eight years in Latin America.

PHILOSOPHY

"Experience is the sum amount of all of our failures"; "friends are like stars: you do not always see them but you know they are there"; "impossible is nothing".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think it is a great community to get started in a new city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only had a few experiences, and they were all good.

Interests

I enjoy languages, going to the cinema, doing sports (racket sports and particularly tennis and badminton, jogging, going to the gym, swimming, trekking.). I love travelling and getting to know new places and people, reading (Paolo Coelho for his lessons of life, or French and Latin American litterature), and simply chill around or hang out with friends. I have a weird obsession for German Marzipanstollen, and Mexican handcraft.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like any type of music, except metal music. I enjoy blockbusters, drama, independant movies and comic series. I like litterature, although I tend to get sleepy after 20 minutes of reading - age is catching up probably.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been in love; I have travelled and seen so many great places that it is hard to choose from them. But what I am especially proud of is that each time I live in a new city and then get back to my hometown, I still am in touch and meet some of the people that I have met there. Not as often as I would like to, but that still is a great feeling. Additionally, I work in the social sector, which means I try to contribute to creating a better, fairer world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can cook pretty decently, especially French food. I like trying food from different countries, and would love to learn how to cook a decent padthai, pizza or samosa.

What I Can Share with Hosts
