Kathi & me travelled a lot together, we lived in Guatemala City for one and a half years, working with children in a Casa Hogar Estudiantil. I was doing my civil service there and always had in my mind, that travelling is one of the most important things to get open minded, to see the world!

Now Kathi is working as a german teacher for adults and I am selling water purification systems and living water. As I am often on fairs all over austria, germany and switzerland, perhaps we will me some day at your place too :)

We have two wonderful girls, Sophie (2009) and Flora (2012). They love playing with our guests other than our cat "Minus" who is a bit shy.

Ps: We are a non-smoking household.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

We are not travelling far at the moment, because our kids are too little yet. But we are gladly accepting guests to let our girls know, that travelling people are good people :) We love to hear travelling stories and to know new friends from all over the world!

music: Classical, Hiphop, Drum&bass (I love festivals) and a lot more.

movies: we threw our tv out when Sophie (our older daughter) was born, so we don't watch tv - but we like good films.

books: hard to say, right now I read Terry Pratchett a lot, I like Henning Mankell, Douglas Adams, Hakan Nesser and a lot more. Kathi loves Haruki Murakami and Amélie Nothomb. We read a lot, have more than 2000 books, I guess.

games: we love to play board & card games!
