ABOUT ME

I love to go camping and bush walking, they are the simple pleasures of my life. I have three wonderful sons who have come to visit me in China and we've travelled together. I love lying in the sun, swimming in the creek, watching the clouds and the eagles in the sky. I'm very fortunate that I grew up in the most beautiful place on the planet, rain-forests, mountains, crystal clear creeks and wonderful people. I'm a pretty laid back person and don't get stressed very often, I read everyday, love to laugh and have simplified my life by giving away my clothes and possessions - except what I'll need when travelling. I like to spend some time alone every day.
I am teaching myself medicinal herbal remedies and I am an avid Sudoku player .

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been hosting people for years, though not through Couchsurfers, it's great to have a world wide contact list of people I'm looking forward to meeting and hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I travelled throughout Victoria, NSW and Queensland staying with people on farms through WWOOF (Willing Workers On Organic Farms). That was a great experience, seeing different lifestyles and dwellings and meeting environmentally aware people.

Travelled by motorbike through Vietnam.
Trekked around Mt Makalu and up past Namchee Bazaar in Nepal.
White water rafted down the Kaligandaki River near Pokora in Nepal.
