Born in sukuta village kombo North district west coast region. grew up in the rural village of Ndemban japichum village 74km from the capital city Banjul The gambia.
i acquired western education in English and went through the primary and the secondary level. i served as a teacher at the primary level for 17 years since 1990 to 2008. in july the same year i shifted my course to rural development work with NGOs who work with the rural communities. while working, i pursued my Higher National Diploma in population and development in 2011, now works with National Women Farmers Association (NAWFA) as a field coordinator. Married with 4 kids.
