Hi! I am an independent product designer based in Istanbul. I live in the heart of Istanbul which is a city that lives 24h. I like exploring the city. I am interested in art and music. Electronic music mostly i must say. I enjoy watching independent movies in small museum theatres nearby. I am interested in videoart. My main profession is product design and design management. I like Cigkofte very much. (i keep it mysterious here in case you want to come i will introduce it to you myself:) I like to watch sci-fi and can listen to anything for hours that is about technology and the philosophy around it. I am also a part-time lecturer in Bilgi University, ID Department.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe in communial acts can help to make us have a better life. I had been a host years ago when i had my own apartment. Now again i am able to be a host in one of the most inspiring and old cities in the world. I like meeting new people, sharing ideas and experiences. I work freelance and i am willing to visit far places and host more people in near future. I believe in the efficiency of opensourcing the accomodation because it gives you freedom to visit more places and meet more local people. More mobility, more sharing, less owning..
