Hello! I’m Sumedh, a passionate traveler and a student currently pursuing a double degree Master’s in Industrial Business Management and Innovation. I enjoy connecting with people from diverse backgrounds, sharing experiences, and learning new cultures.

Outside of academics, I’m deeply involved in initiatives supporting mental health awareness and enjoy guiding others on managing stress and anxiety through yoga and mindfulness practices. I also love exploring new cities, meeting people, and exchanging stories that make life more colorful.

When I’m not busy studying or networking, I indulge in long walks, plan exciting adventures, or experiment with cooking. Always ready for a good laugh or an inspiring conversation!

I’m on Couchsurfing to experience authentic travel by meeting locals and sharing cultures. I believe that the best way to explore a new place is through the eyes of the people who live there. Couchsurfing allows me to create meaningful connections, exchange ideas, and learn something new every day.

I also see this platform as an opportunity to give back to the travel community, be it through hosting travelers in the future or helping fellow wanderers find their way. It’s not just about travel; it’s about the friendships, stories, and moments that make the journey worthwhile.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most incredible experiences of my life was hiking in the majestic Himalayas in India. I embarked on a 10-day adventure, reaching an altitude of 12,700 feet.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I come from India, a land rich in culture, languages, and, of course, incredible food! I can teach hosts a variety of Indian languages and share insights into our vibrant traditions and lifestyle.

I’m more than happy to cook some authentic Indian dishes.

Additionally, I’d love to share stories about my travels, including my experiences in Kazakhstan and how those journeys have shaped my perspective. I enjoy exchanging cultural experiences and engaging in meaningful conversations to create lasting memories.
