About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be nice to people

ABOUT ME

I just finished a masters degree in Acoustics from The University of Texas, and I'm going to be heading to Cornell University in the Fall (brr) to study Applied Math.

I've lived in India, California, Alabama (!), Texas, and soon I'll live in New York for a while. I watch a lot of sports; there was once a time when I could name the middle reliever for every Major League Baseball team. I believe that NCAA athletes should be paid.

I've been told by a friend that I'm the most politically conservative friend she has. I've also been told by a different friend that I'm the most politically liberal friend he has. So I guess I'm a extreme moderate?

PHILOSOPHY

It is enough to be benign, to be gentle, to be funny, to be kind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm brand new to couchsurfing, and am trying it out on the recommendation of a friend. I'd love to host surfers after I get back from my first couchsurfing trip in Europe. I have a comfy futon and Austin is a pretty neat town.

1.The Departed
2. Inception
3.The Dark Knight
4. City of God
5. Inglorious Basterds
