About Me
***I have finally succumbed to verification in an open source community ***
In brief:
Foodie | Computer nerd | Science and History geek | Music lover(Punk rock, alternative rock, dubstep, 60s british invasion rock, rock n roll, bob dylan) |Like other cultures and also sub cultures | Love learning Languages | I might come across a bit shy at first but within 5 minutes I will start talking as if there is no tomorrow. :)
P.S In the mean time, it would be great if any of you can teach me Spanish over Skype. That would be amazing. I can converse in English or teach you English in return, if you want.
420 friendly
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As a surfer: To be honest I have only used hotels and hostels before but that was either with my previous partners or with a friend. Now that I want to travel/explore alone and see the world with my perspective, the best way to do it, in my opinion, is via CS because I will get to meet locals via CS who have their stories to tell, experiences to share and show what they think about the world around them. I know you must be thinking there are other ways to meet locals - well yes but CS way is more comfortable for me because as I said I am a bit shy at first.
As a host:I am hosting now since I recently moved to bigger apartment. I will be as helpful as I can but it would be great if your entire couchsurfing experience is not just about coming to a host's place and going to sleep. There are cheap hostel for that. Although it is understandable if you are tired af.

3. Gypsy boy
4. On Anarchism
5. Soul of a man under socialism
Genres or bands I like
1. Indie - Arctic monkeys, The strokes, The kooks, The fratellis,Bastille, Franz Ferdinand etc
2. British street punk - clash, cockney rejects, sham 69, cock sparrer, sex pistols etc
3. 90s British is also good - Oasis, The verve, Blur
4. 60s British Invasion music - Beatles, Rolling stones, the yardbirds, the hollies, the animals, the who, the kinks, anything British from the 60s basically etc
5. Dubstep/drum and bass
6. I'm in for a bit of classical and folk as well specially when I am trying to sleep.
Food - Well I love Indian food, not because I was born in that culture but no other food as tingled my taste buds like that yet. Spanish comes in very close second. Thai comes in third. Rest all are fillers, at least for the moment till I find out more. Change my mind
Movies and Shows - There are too many. Lets keep this for when we meet.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach - About India(maybe break a stereotype or two about India and Indians). Can give you travel tips about India and some european countries I have visited, if you are planning to go there. Teach you Hindi and English(No I dont have that shady Indian accent haha). Teach you how to cook a decent curry.
Learn: Spanish and German language please. Any one who can teach me these I will be indebted to them :). Learn about south american culture. I know I am trying to paint it with too broad a brush but I mean any one from south america willing to give me travel tips or show me around in their city or country, I will be much obliged.
Share - Whatever mine is yours. Just don't be selfish.
What I Can Share with Hosts
