Hey peeps! I'm Summer, a travel addict who's friendly, open-minded and helpful, here to meet new friends around the world.

I'm a marketing/advertising background person who's never tired of trying new things.
"Travel" to me, is kind of a medicine which reminds me how fresh this world is and how cute the city I live is. It reminds me not to take things for granted so that I could always keep my creativity and curiosity.

I also do a lot of small projects since I majored in Culture "Creative" Industry Management lolll. (I'll show in below!)
Before graduating from college, I lived a short exchange student life in Paris due to my passion for language learning, arts, and photography,....The life there would be a super long story to tell, if we get the chance!

I would say, I've become an organized traveler after that due to some experiences not so good, but experiencing different travel ways, meeting local people, discovering places where few tourist go but amazing, living a foreign but local life......still excite me and give me chances to view the world from others' visions again and again. That's the magic of traveling isn't it?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The reason I started to use CS should trace back to my graduate project with my college classmates, the project is quite similar to this platform or even TripAdvisor that we provided local free walking tours and culture activities for foreigners in Taiwan. No matter who live here or just pass by for traveling, to experience cool cultural, local things on this beautiful island.

At first, we just needed a platform to reach our target audiences. But in the end, we all truly believe that aside from those famous must-go landscapes, places/activities recommended by locals could be more fun and less crowed, so that's why I'm here since then!

If we share the same passion for travel, why not enjoy the trip together I mean!!
I will also be glad to receive nice suggestions or tips when traveling in other countries.
On the other hand, feel free to send me a dm if you're gonna visit Taiwan. I'm here willing to help you out with tips and itineraries or even show you around Taipei, the city where I live in!

Interests

I do a lot of amateur photography in my leisure time.
Shooting topics include architectures, street photography , candid photography(still trying hard to get a good one), human portraits...etc. Just want to improve it and enjoy it somehow!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the most amazing thing I've done was the one-month backpacking tour in Europe with three other relatives five years ago.That was my first time been to western country,my first time taking plane by myself,my first time using so many English in my journey!So that you can imagine how excited I was!!We went 6 countries,climbed Alps,slid down the salt mile....However,I haven't tried couch surfing so much before and I think if it happens,it'll be another amazing thing "I've done"!(2015)
