About Me

Colorado native, I climb, hike, bike, etc... all the things and adventures. If I haven't done something, I want to try it. I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie, recently skydiving and paragliding have stolen my heart. I keep busy, but still try to balance the chaos of life. I'm the cat curiosity killed, similar to that of Schrodinger's cat. Also a math and science geek, with nerdish tendencies.

In the simplest description, I am a tenacious, go getting type of person. If I want something I will achieve it and I don't stop or give up. My drive and ambition is probably what my friends know me best for, ENTJ describes me quite accurately.

I'm also pretty chill, I love doing the things and then relaxing with good people at the end of the day. I'm a clean and well organized person, don't smoke, and love meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well I'm a hardworking student... keyword student meaning I want to travel but don't have an abundance of money. Plus I love the fact that couch surfing lets you not only find places to stay but also opens a world to meeting new people all over the globe.

I want to travel to learn and experience cultures and see the beauty of the globe, not stand in a tourist line and order room service in a hotel. Couchsurfing opens the door to seeing a city through the people which is just amazing.

Currently planning to backpack Europe in June 2017 and want to find people, places, and amazing adventures along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have much time to read anything not scientific or educational or research related, but: The Time Machine, Brave new world, What if?, The Second Sex.

Movies and shows...
Chronicles of Riddick, Fight club, Troy, How to Train Your Dragon, Lion King, kung fu panda,
Doctor Who, Archer, Family Guy, Firefly, Bones, Modern Family.

Most genres of music I can appreciate as a musician, but I've been on a deep grungy blues kick of late. Usually alternative rock, folk, and classical are on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was a part of a humanitarian engineering effort in Costa Rica helping a marginalized community. Hands down the most amazing experience I've had the pleasure to be a part of.

Teach, Learn, Share

If I have knowledge or skills that interest you I will share it all!

I also would love to learn more languages, it is not a strength of mine so if you can endure or at least laugh at my abrasive accent and mispronunciations I would appreciate it.

My favorite things to learn about is what other peoples passions. I think it is incredible to see what drives others. Nothing is better than someone just carrying on about something that moves them.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am very handy, whether it comes to building or fixing things. Also very good at finding efficient solutions to all sorts of problems. I have many skills in all sorts of areas and love to share my experiences and knowledge with others.

Also I am no chef but I can cook a decent meal :)
